What to Expect:

This is a social ride for anyone comfortable tackling off road neutral red graded trails. Take in the beautiful views on this stunning mixed terrain 18km loop starting in Stavely and heading out towards Kentmere.

We’ll meet in the spot listed below, get acquainted and head out for the day.

This is a long ride and definitely not a race- we won’t be rushing to get done, we won’t be pushing to tick off features- the aim is to have fun and ride bikes!

No pressure, just good times!

Note: There’s a cafe at the start/end of the ride, and a shop in the village where we are meeting, but nothing along the way so please be sure to bring snacks/ lunch with you, and of course plenty of water.

Below is a screenshot of the route.

Where to Meet Us:

Lauren will be ready and waiting at the Staveley Mill Yard at 09:45 ready to ride for 10 am (we’re not going to hang around too long, so try to be on time so you don’t miss the ride).

Lauren will be there so make yourself known to her and get acquainted.

What Should you Bring?:

It’s super important to note that we will not ride with anyone who is not wearing a helmet!

Other than that, the protective gear that you bring is up to you- we normally ride with knee pads and maybe gloves, depending on the conditions. You’ll also need a bike that is trail suitable and safe, and some water to keep you going.

Be sure to bring clothes that will keep you warm and dry.

If you’re going to hire a bike for the day be sure to do it well in advance of the ride.

Please bring snacks/ lunch and plenty of water. There’s a cafe at the start/end of the ride, and a shop in the village where we are meeting, but nothing along the way.

What Will it Cost?

The ride itself is totally free, we won’t be charging you anything for our company.

We’re meeting at Staveley Mill Yard which has a paid carpark which costs about £3 per hour. There’s no obligation to park here; you’re welcome to park elsewhere and just meet the group at Staveley Mill Yard if you like.

Extra Info:

Here is quick disclaimer from us, please do take a look:

This is NOT a guided ride and there will be no coaching, we’re simply meeting you at the trail head to make some friends, push each other as a group, and get women on the trails. We do not accept any responsibility / liability for any accidents, and we will refuse to ride with anyone who arrives without the correct safety equipment or an unsafe bike. All riders must sign up in order to ride and in doing so you are agreeing to these terms. All riders must be ages 18 or above.
