who we are

Hi, I’m Heather the founder of SheRides Female Ride Collective. I started this collective because I have only ever ridden with guys. There seems to be a distinct lack of women on the trails in the UK and I think the playing field needs levelling a bit.

All the women I’ve spoken to have experienced the same thing, and it’s common knowledge that riding with like-minded people promotes progression, builds confidence and helps us shake off that self doubt. Let’s hit some trails together and we can start riding our bikes like the shredders we are!

We’re a small team of 2 (myself and my partner Tom) and we want to shake things up a bit in the MTB world. There is a noticeably small amount of resource for female riders; whether you want to ride, watch the pros, attend some local MTB festivals, or improve your training regime, it’s difficult to find out how to do any of these things. We’re bringing all of this information together to be your one-stop community for all things MTB. 

I’m also a certified personal trainer (6 years+ qualified), I’ve worked all over the world training men and women, helping them achieve their goals in both sports specific training and general fitness. Combining my love of fitness and MTB, SheRides Collective was born to create a community of strong, confident female riders.
